Import marks into IMMS

There are two ways in which you can import marks into IMMS.

You can either use: (1) the semi-automated import from Canvas or (2) import vis a CSV file from within the IMMS application. 

 

Semi-automated Import of marks from Canvas into IMMS:

  1. Login to the IMMS application.

  2. Choose the Import from LumiNUS/Canvas option and click Import.

  3. The list of Canvas gradebook components is displayed.

  4. Map the Canvas gradebook components to the relevant IMMS Component (pick from the dropdown list of IMMS component).

  5. Finally, click on the Import button.

  6. If successful, the data is displayed for your verification. You ay then proceed to Submit to upload data into IMMS.

  7. If unsuccessful, errors in the data are displayed, and need to be corrected before you can submit uploading.

 

Import marks as CSV into IMMS:

Before the downloaded marks from Canvas can be imported into IMMS, you need to follow the two steps below. 
Note: Starting semester AY2022/2023, Semester 1, this process will be automated.  

  1. First, modify CSV to match the IMMS template.

  2. Login to the IMMS application.

  3. Import the marks into IMMS, by choosing the Import from file option and and click Import.
