Pages
Why Use Canvas Pages?
Assignments, discussions, quizzes, and files may not always fit neatly into course materials or educational content. Canvas Pages provides a versatile approach for organizing and displaying these resources. Pages can be used to give information and content to students, to create a welcome page for new students, and links between pages are also possible. They can also be used as a collaboration tool for course or group wikis with restricted access.
Canvas Pages: Example uses
The following is a non-exhaustive list of what Instructors can do with Canvas Pages:
- Outline the learning objectives for students in a course Module
- Putting together a collection of URLs and other materials that may be distributed in different locations in the course for easy reference. This can include embedding or linking to video content from the Media Library, Vimeo, or YouTube into your Canvas course for students to watch.
