Canvas Basics

An overview

We suggest that you perform the following the first time you log into Canvas:

	Customise your account by updating your account profile, account settings and notification preferences
	Familiarise yourself with the global navigation menu and dashboard
	Customise the links that appear in the course navigation for your students
	Canvas supports current and major releases of browsers such as Edge, Chrome, Firefox and and Safari. To ensure better user experience and avoid potential issues of accessing course content, it is important that you and your students use the browsers supported by Canvas
