An overview

There are numerous ways of assessing your students in Canvas. Below are some examples for how to build up assessments utilizing Canvas tools. There is no one-size-fits-all approach, nor is there a correct or incorrect approach. You'll have to figure out what works best for you, the abilities and knowledge you're evaluating, and the students in your class.

Request a Canvas Sandbox site if you don't already have one. You can use your Canvas Sandbox site to experiment with different Canvas assessment tools before deciding which to utilize. You may import whatever you create in your Sandbox site into your teaching Canvas site.
