1. Course Navigation

The course navigation menu can be collapsed with Menu Icon next to course name in upper left.

Hiding Course Menu

The course navigation provides links to various parts of the course. You will usually sees a standard set of links, but may choose to hide/disable those that you so not use. Links that you disable will appear grayed out. They will not be visible to students but you, as the instructor, are still able to access.
You will learn how to do this in the next section: Customise Course Layout.

2. Content area

This is the main window within your course that shows content. It's where you will build the pages, assignments, quizzes, modules, and all other parts of your course creation.

Breadcrumb navigation

The breadcrumb navigation, which is located above the main content area, shows your current location within a course and allows easy navigation backwards.
