Grades
The Grades section of a course will show the grades for all assignments.
1. Sorting
Grades can be sorted in various ways. After choosing how you want them to be arranged, click the 'Apply' button to apply the change.
2. Grade Details
Details of the grades of each assignment can be seen by clicking the button shown. Clicking the 'Show all details' button on the right (below box 4) will also expand this section for all assignments (if enabled by the instructor).
3. What-if Score
A what-if score is a hypothetical score for an assignment that can be used to approximate your grade, or see how your grade will be affected by varying performances on assignments. This can be useful in seeing how much you need to score in future assignments to pull up your grade, or how much a bad score will pull down your grade. You can set a what-if score for any assignment, including those that already include or score or those that have yet to be graded. For a more detailed explanation of what-if scores, do visit this page Links to an external site..
You can input a what-if score for each assignment by clicking on the number or icon under the 'Score' column. After inputting the score that you want to test for, an arrow will appear next to the number, indicating that that is a what-if score.
4. Scores
The total score shown will be either your what-if score or your actual score. To toggle between the 2, simply press the corresponding button. There is also an option at the bottom of the assignment weightage table to calculate based only on graded assignments.
